Soledad House is San Diego’s premier recovery center for women. We offer highly effective treatment programs for drug and alcohol addiction in a healing environment. Through an emphasis on relapse prevention, group and individual therapy, family program, and a range of addiction treatment therapies, we help our clients take their lives back from substance use.
Soledad House specializes in women’s addiction treatment, which means that we tailor all of our programs to the needs of women in recovery. Our clients live in a supportive sober living residence, participate in holistic and evidence-based therapies, and work through the underlying causes of addiction with help from our highly educated and experienced treatment team.
A residential treatment program for drug and alcohol addiction is also commonly referred to as an “inpatient” program. In a residential treatment program, clients receive around-the-clock care. Residential treatment often follows detox and is the most intensive level of care offered.
Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides a high level of support for women in the early days of recovery. As part of their customized treatment plans, clients participate in everything from 12-step meetings to exercise therapy.
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers more flexibility but the same high-quality approach to treatment as our partial hospitalization program. Clients work on developing healthy coping skills to promote long-term recovery.
The journey to recovery doesn’t end when our clients leave treatment. We offer ongoing therapy and support as well as relapse prevention plans to help our clients rebuild their lives. Extended care is vital to helping our clients transition back to the real world.
Our sober living residences provide clients with a comfortable and supportive living environment while in treatment. Providing structure in a nurturing environment, our goal is to help women strengthen their sobriety to succeed in recovery.

Soledad House has helped our daughter go from a drug addict that was binging on her drug of choice to a recovering addict that has been sober for a year.
